The Board of Directors is the most senior corporate body with ultimate responsibility for the strategy and direction of the company. The Board as well as the owners supports the company in its growth, diversity and business vision.
 
Chairman: Dr. Ziad Fariz, currently the Chairman of First Investment Group, has held various public/private sector positions throughout his illustrious and extensive career in Jordan. Between August 2007 and February 2009, Dr. Fariz held the position of Chairman of the Board of Capital Bank, the third largest bank in terms of paid-in capital in Jordan. Before that, he served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Jordan where he led the economic team in articulating and implementing an economic reform program that aimed to achieve economic growth in the country while dealing with threats to fiscal stability triggered by soaring international commodity prices.
 
Between 2001 and 2005, Dr. Fariz was the Chief Executive Officer of the Arab Banking Corporation in Jordan, where he managed in a few years to turn around the Bank into a prudent, well-managed and profitable bank. Prior to that, he served as Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan between 1996 and 2001. During his tenure, the Central Bank managed to weather a number of economic crises, as the bases for monetary stability were strengthened. Between 1989 and 1994 Dr. Fariz held several high-ranking ministerial positions in Jordan, including that of Minister of Industry and Trade and Minister of Planning. Dr. Fariz holds a PhD degree in economics from Keele University, England.
 
Vice Chairman: Mr. Marouf Othman Abu Samra; A prominent business man, Chairman of Transport and Investment Barter Co (NAQL) PLC. Chairman of the Board of International Barter Co. Board Member of AWTAD For Real Estate Financial Investments PLC an experienced investor in different financial markets.
 
Member: Mr. Tareq Al Ansari, An established Asset Management specialist with a proven record in different financial markets particularly in the U.S Markets, equities, derivatives and fixed income.  In Mid 2001 he led the team responsible for reengineering the investment company which the Arab Banking Corporation (Jordan) owned since 1990.
 

Al-Ansari holds a B.B.A in Economics and Business Administration and has passed Level 1CFA.  He served as Assistant Treasurer-Money Market and FX Trader at (Housing Bank-Jordan) was Head of the Securities Unit at Capital Bank (Export and Finance Bank-Jordan).  He was then appointed C.E.O of ABC Investment, where he stayed for 5 years and managed several Funds.  Al-Ansari is a major Share holder at First Investment Group and is a firm believer that his contribution should be done through his executive role as well as through delivering performance for the Funds presented by the company.
